HI BOOST DRIVE KIT The Ford GT 2.3 Lysholm is a good supercharger, but it utilizes a one piece front cover. The drive is an integral part of the front (gear-oil) cover, so a pulley/boost change requires the entire supercharger be removed from the engine. Pulley changes are also very difficult as they are pressed on. A special puller is required to remove and re-install them. The Kenne Bell Billet Two Piece Cover/Drive replaces the weaker cast aluminum cover and drive with a two piece polished billet aluminum cover and removable drive. The drive and pulley assembly can be quickly and easily removed with six 6mm screws for quick, easy pulley swaps. The supercharger and front cover now remains on the engine. No supercharger removal, oil draining and pressing pulleys on and off. Only the initial installation requires removal/replacement of supercharger. Once off the car, a pulley change can be done in a few minutes with one 12mm bolt. 1/8” of pulley size is approximately 25HP. This is the exact same race proven drive used on thousands of Kenne Bell superchargers, including our ultra high HP Cobra and Corvette kits. Kit includes Front Cover, Drive, 4 Pulleys (2-7/8”, 2-3/4”, 2-5/8”, 2-1/2”), Pulley Wrench, Drive “Vent” Bolt, Boost Tap Kit, Power Steering Spacers to maintain correct belt tension and Kenne Bell Flash Tuner. | HP & TORQUE Kenne Bell isn’t just some internet vendor who merely “lists” other manufacturers products. Our products are designed, tested, tuned and calibrated in house. And we are not new to Ford superchargers. It was Kenne Bell who first introduced the Twin Screw concept to Fords in 1991, and we’ve been specializing in Ford supercharging ever since. Kenne Bell offers proven performance products for GT owners that want more power, torque and acceleration the easy and proven way - re-calibration and increased supercharger boost. We were first to make 700RWHP with the ‘03 Cobra and the Ford GT. Just imagine how this beast of a car feels like with another seat pinning 145HP! And the kit is “adjustable” from 37-145. Just “pick the power level” and change the pulley. Our tests indicated no (”0” HP) gain from a $2500 exhaust system change. And don’t expect more than 10HP from any header. Roush and Ford did an excellent job of maximizing the inlet and exhaust systems, so unless you’re willing to remove the engine and install expensive rough idling cams for a mere 25HP, supercharging mods are the easiest and least expensive route to more HP and torque. Our recommendation for anyone seeking more HP from their GT is to first get the Kenne Bell Flash Tuner, which gives 36 peak HP and 45 ft. lbs. peak torque while vastly improving the torque curve from 2500 up as much as 100 ft. lbs! You will feel the 100 ft. lb. torque improvement (see dyno tests). Next, we recommend the High Capacity Drive Kit (Billet Front Cover and Drive, 4 Pulleys, Pulley Wrench, Boost Tap Kit). | BILLET STEEL PULLEYS Kenne Bell uses and recommends only steel pulleys and we guarantee them for life against wear or breakage. Steel is stronger than aluminum and has superior wear characteristics. Our one bolt steel pulleys increase boost from 12-18 psi in 1/8” increments from 2-7/8” - 2-1/2” and 545-689HP. Quick easy pulley changes allow GT owners to “tune” the boost (25HP per 1/8”) to the application. CAUTION: The stock 3.25” aluminum pulley fits OVER the stock drive so pulley size reduction is limited as the pulley ID will contact the drive. Be careful of smaller “cheapie” aluminum cut down pulleys with reduced wall thickness. This obviously weakens the pulley, particularly the long 10 rib versions. The Kenne Bell pulley design fastens to the end of the drive so reducing pulley diameter is not an issue. Note: A set of power steering spacers are necessary to maintain the correct OEM belt tension spec. |

| BOOST TAP KIT The stock GT boost gauge only reads to 15 psi and there is nowhere to connect a manual boost 0-25 psi gauge on a Ford GT. The Kenne Bell Boost Tap Kit can be installed with the supercharger off. Will work with any mechanical gauge. Includes billet adaptor, hose fitting and hardware (gauge not included). |

| KENNE BELL FLASH TUNER By re-calibrating the stock conservative Ford tune, we were able to increase peak power by 35HP and torque by 45 ft. lbs. with no other changes. The torque curve was vastly improved by up to 100 ft. lbs in the 2500 rpm and up range. This is the calibration or “tune” developed on our dyno. HP range is 545 (stock - 12 psi) to 700 (18 psi). Highly recommended with ANY boost increase. Contains two (2) calibrations, “POWER” and “SHOOT OUT”. Instructions are included for both stock and higher boost applications. |

TECH TIPS Use Denso T20EPR-U or NGK TR6 and gap at .035”. Ignition may be marginal at higher boost, so the Kenne Bell BOOST-A-SPARK™ -GT (for Ford GT only) is the best ignition and easiest to install. Inlet tube collapses under high boost. Temperature also affects it. Accufab has a fix and the dual 75mm throttle body (phone# 909-930-1751). Exercise caution when driving with higher boost levels. HP and torque increase incrementally with boost, so traction is an issue. At 14 psi, this car is a real handful. |
