Because of their inherently high efficiency/cooler air charge temperature, Kenne Bell superchargers do not require the use of an intercooler. However, for those who demand another 2-3 psi without the expense and complexity of an air to water intercooler, we now have an alternative - the Kenne Bell Way Cool Water/Alcohol Injection System. For years, water/alcohol injection has been used to cool the engine's air charge while removing the power robbing carbon build up from the combustion chamber. And it cleans the spark plugs. The concept is not new. It's just that most of the manufacturers who offered water/alcohol injection in the past lacked the technology and test equipment to optimize it. Kenne Bell has 33 years experience with turbocharging, supercharging and intercooling. We understand water injection and know how to make it work. With our kits, boost can be increased 2-3 psi with the same octane fuel. That equates to 20-30HP, the same gains seen in the more complex and expensive air to water intercooler systems. Note: Intercoolers and water injection do not "make" more HP. They only allow the engine to tolerate more boost and/or ignition timing. The orifices, pump, pressure, activation switch and all hardware are custom engineered for each Kenne Bell supercharger/engine/transmission application. As can be seen from our Tech Tips, a change in exhaust, headers, cool air kit, chip, throttle body and mass air meter seldom improves performance on the new vehicles. So if you're looking for another 20-30HP from your Kenne Bell supercharged car, truck or SUV, the Way Cool System is a bargain. Recommended for street, racing and towing. Depending on how much boost is used, the canister is typically refilled every 1-4 gas fill ups. |

Increases HP and Torque at all rpm. Improves 0-60 and 1/4 mile acceleration. Reduces engine knock, ping and detonation. Allows boost to be increased 2-3 psi for a gain of 20-30HP. "Green" indicator light when activated. Uses windshield washer canister for reservoir. Easily refilled with 50/50 mixture of water and low cost rubbing alcohol. Reduces air charge temperature up to 75° (same as air to water intercoolers). Removes carbon in combustion chamber. Boost pressure activated. Cleans spark plugs. Developed by Kenne Bell. Works only on Kenne Bell Twin Screw Supercharger Kits. Includes all hardware and installation instructions. Easy to install. More consistent than intercooling (no H2O to heat up). Recommended for street, racing or towing. |
