| Kenne Bell BOOST VALVE Kit must be used in combination with the BOOST-A-PUMP™ and SWITCH CHIP® to calibrate correct air fuel ratio from 390-725HP. Tables, fuel pressure and real gauge boost must all be synchronized for safer engine operation on elevated HP levels. BOOST VALVE KIT The Kenne Bell BOOST VALVE KIT provides a convenient fitting for a manual gauge. The stock gauge is limited to 10 psi. Note: Required for stock Eaton only. Kenne Bell Twin Screw replacement includes a boost tap. BOOST-A-PUMP™ The BOOST-A-PUMP™ dials up (increases) fuel pressure all the way to 85 psi. It's totally cockpit adjustable from the stock 39 psi to 85 psi - enough fuel for 725HP when used with the SWITCH CHIP®. All with stock injectors, fuel pump lines and pumps and ONE chip. | The '03 Cobra in stock form has a serious lean out problem in the low and mid range (2500-4000) and is excessively rich at peak rpm. Consistent AF ratio is absolutely necessary for optimum power at all engine speeds. 12.5 makes best power. 14.7 is best for economy. Closed loop 15's are dangerously lean and kill HP. The Kenne Bell SWITCH CHIP® is calibrated to even out and optimize the AF ratio at any RPM, boost or HP level. An accurate dyno, total command of calibration and all the tools (data logger, scanners, AF ratio, meter etc.) are necessary to develop a chip with this degree of sophistication, accuracy and flexibility. Note how the Kenne Bell SWITCH CHIP® richens mixture and increases power (see dyno graph and AF ratio tests). The Cobra is a very difficult vehicle to accurately dyno test. All Kenne Bell testing, product development and calibration is done in house. We don't rely on "chip companies" for our calibration and "others" for our dyno testing. | |||||
